Will there be fireworks at the delayed Tokyo Olympics over Mount Fuji?
A video of fireworks with a background music is being circulated on social media with claims that it shows a display of fireworks in Japan which was supposed to be part of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games to be held in 2021. The firework display was supposed to have been held on July 24 2020 to mark the day the Olympics were supposed to begin.
The two-minute 57-second video shows fireworks exploding in front of Japan’s Mount Fuji. Gioachino Rossini’s William Tell Overture can be heard in the background.
It is quite possible that this video is a computer simulation, so it's not time to get too excited. Nevertheless, a fireworks display over the beautiful Mount Fuji would be a sight to behold.
