Cold War Games has been favourably reviewed by Shane Cahill in the May 2018 edition of Labour History. He ended his review by saying that ‘The Cold War was complex, and both major powers had to deal with troublesome satellites. Harry Blutstein’s is a finely crafted and well told account of a pivotal moment in Olympic, international and Australian history.’
